What Does The Future Hold In This Month’s Loot Crate
Many people hope the future is filled with unlimited tech like flying cars, but what if the machines turn on us? Films like The Matrix and Terminator show those possible gloomy futures. Hopefully we won’t become batteries like our friends Neo and Morpheus.

XBOX One Has Your Chance To Drive A Ford GT
Recently Ford announced that the Ford GT is making a coming back. Not only are car enthusiasts psyched, but so are gamers. To celebrate Ford’s return to the Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race 50 years after recording an historic 1-2-3 victory in 1966, the #66 Ford GT race car is now available to drive in the Forza Motorsport 6 racing game for Xbox One.
Starting today, codes to download the Ford GT Le Mans race car for free will be sent direct to the Xbox Live message inboxes of gamers who play Forza Motorsport 6.
This year Ford is running two Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Ford GTs in the FIA World Endurance Championship and two in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. All four Ford GTs will compete for GTE Pro class glory at the Le Mans 24 Hours that starts at 15:00 CET on June 18 in France.
“Ford’s 1966 Le Mans victory is the stuff of motorsport legend, and now we’re back to take on the world’s toughest endurance race with our most technologically advanced car ever,” said Henry Ford III, global marketing manager, Ford Performance. “We’ve worked closely with Forza and Xbox so that millions of Forza Motorsport 6 gamers can experience the excitement of our Le Mans return side-by-side with Ford.”
The Ford GT race car is based on the all-new Ford GT supercar, which is the pinnacle product of the Ford Performance division. With state-of-the-art aerodynamics, lightweight carbon fibre construction and a powerful and efficient Ford EcoBoost engine, the Ford GT has been built to go head-to-head with the GT establishment – Ferrari, Corvette, Porsche and Aston Martin – as they fight for victory in the ultimate endurance battle.
The Forza Motorsport 6 cover star Ford GT road car – expected to start arriving in customers’ garages by the end of 2016 – has been available to drive in-game since the launch of the acclaimed title last year.
For the Le Mans 24 Hours the two WEC Ford GTs retain their #66 and #67 race numbers while the IMSA cars become #68 and #69, celebrating Ford’s back-to-back Le Mans victories in 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1969.

You Will Want to Hold The Door For These Game of Thrones Sets
It is not hard to fathom that Game of Thrones is the most-watched HBO original series and best-selling TV on DVD title for the past five years. Not fans of the show will be able to get their hands on the new and very collectible Steelbook collectible Game of Thrones Blu-ray Seasons 3 and 4 sets. Following the release of Steelbook Seasons 1 and 2 this past fall, the collection continues, with seasons 3 and 4 releasing in a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray set with the revolutionary new audio technology Dolby Atmos. Jesse Lee Soffer – Harley-Davidson Roadster Interview
Last week we caught up with Chicago P.D. star Jesse Lee Soffer to talk about the new Harley-Davidson Roadster. Harley is doing this cool ride share program that allows people to test out the new Roadster for just $7 a day. It’s a great way to get on this new bike that caters to urban dwellers. We talked with Soffer about his involvement in this new roadster campaign, his love of riding, doing his own stunts, Chicago, the difference between filming a soap opera and a crime drama and that time he played Bobby Brady on an episode of Wings. Here’s the interview:

MTN Dew Has A NASCAR VR Dale Jr & A Dancing Cat
MTN Dew has been known to mix things up! Thankfully they are not mixing Dale Jr and dancing cat. Let’s first take a look at the virtual reality NASCAR stuff.
The new VR content on YouTube360 is part of the DEWcision 2016 campaign, giving fans the power to choose which of their favorite limited-time flavor stays on shelves. The VR experience puts fans in the virtual driver’s seat next to three of NASCAR’s most popular drivers – Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kasey Kahne and Chase Elliott – where they can race through worlds powered by Baja Blast or Pitch Black. Depending on which path a fan chooses in the VR experience, their vote will also be counted to help determine which flavor wins DEWcision 2016.
New Hardware and Software: DEW is one of the first brands to use the new Oculus Rift VR headset and developer kit to transport fans to a choose-your-own adventure gamified VR racing experience. Firstborn developed the experience using Unreal gaming software for VR. After putting on the VR headset, the viewer is seated and given an Oculus-enabled steering wheel. The steering wheel is linked to the VR world, allowing viewers to steer their chosen car on the racetrack.
Shazam Partnership: The brand is also excited to announce a unique partnership with Shazam, where Mountain Dew becomes the very first brand to launch a VR campaign on the popular app – giving fans the opportunity to experience exclusive VR content when they scan Pitch Black or Baja Blast bottles using Visual Shazam. Once the bottle is scanned, fans will be able to view the VR content within the app and choose to vote on their favorite beverage as part of DEWcision 2016.
New VR Hub: In addition, the brand is launching a first-of-its-kind dedicated VR hub at MountainDew.com/VR that features all of DEW’s VR content in a way that’s playable straight from your mobile phone.
And now for the dancing cat. In celebration of DEW’s new Kickstart commercial, which features a twerking cat, DEW is launching a mobile site extension called “Kitty Wop.” Kitty Wop is a shareable, customizable mobile experience showcasing the star character from the spot. Fans can customize their own Kitty Wop video to “Wiggle Wop,” choosing from a variety of dance moves, backgrounds, and memes with text overlay options like “Meow or never” and “Do that Wiggle Wop.”

The New Star Trek Film Looks Fantastic
Fans of the new Star Trek series this one is for you. Today there is a new trailer for Star Trek Beyond. The film stars Chris Pine, Idris Elba, Simon Pegg, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton Yelchin and Karl Urban. Star Trek Beyond is coming to theaters July 22, 2016.
“Star Trek Beyond,” the highly anticipated next installment in the globally popular Star Trek franchise, created by Gene Roddenberry and reintroduced by J.J. Abrams in 2009, returns with director Justin Lin (“The Fast and the Furious” franchise) at the helm of this epic voyage of the U.S.S. Enterprise and her intrepid crew. The Finest Hours Comes To Blu-ray On May 24th

MTN Dew Launches A New Network
If you think MTN Dew is just all about drinks well you got to check out their brand new network. For the past few months MTN Dew has been quietly operating the Mtn Dew Green Label Multi-Channel Network called MCN. It is their first-ever, brand-owned network. They will partner exclusively with culturally-relevant influencers who will create compelling YouTube content across key verticals important to DEW such as action sports, hoops, art, music, gaming and racing. Dew has already signed on three influencers to the MCN since launching – hip-hop dancer D-trix, basketball influencer The Professor, and skateboarder Josh Katz.

Watch The New Trailer To TMNT Out The Shadows
There is a new trailer for the new TMNT: Out Of The Shadows film. In the latest installment from this series Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.
