Spike Lee Gets Another Signature Shoe From Jordan Brand
Just as Michael Jordan helped changed the way we look at sneakers so did Spike Lee. He was in those iconic Nike commercials with MJ that showcased the early models from the Air Jordan line. Spike Lee is slowly catching up with Jordan in regards to having signature kicks. Today, Jordan Brand launches the Spike Forty, the third silhouette in the Spike Lee Franchise. Following the Jordan Spizike and Jordan Son of Mars, the Spike Forty takes cues from Jordan Brand’s iconic shoe lineage and Lee’s own authentic bond with basketball — signified by a contract signed between the acclaimed filmmaker and his hometown team in 1990.
Jordan designers leveraged Tinker Hatfield’s sketch vault and iconic aspects of the Air Jordan V, the game shoe unveiled in 1990, in creating the Spike Forty. The shoe features a clear outsole, reflective material and lace toggle — all reminiscent of the Air Jordan V — as well as additional details on the lace tips and tongue. The modern, crafted textile and molded TPU based upper represent Jordan DNA, while a phylon midsole with heel unit zoom air adds comfort.
The Spike Forty is available at select retail stores and Jordan.com for a suggested retail price of $180. Multiple colorways of the Spike Forty will land throughout the holiday season. Starting December 1, the Spike Forty will be available to customize on NikeID.

These World Series Cocktails Are A Home Run
What a game last night. The Kansas City Royals edged out the New York Mets in Game 1 of the World Series. It was a bit of back and forth, but it took 14 innings to declare a winner. It was a long and crazy night. Tonight’s game has a lot to live up to. To make sure you have a great night you should try these baseball inspired cocktails from Jack Daniel’s.

If you don’t have a horse in the race then make the BASES-LOADED. It is for fans torn between teams and allows you to keep neutral with this crisp beverage garnished with a grapefruit peel.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire
1 oz. Apple Juice
Ginger beer
Directions: Shake Jack Fire with apple juice and ice. Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with apple slices.
THE ROYAL “JACK”
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire
1 oz. White Peach Puree
Irish Style Red Ale
Directions: Shake Tennessee Fire with puree. Strain over ice in a pint glass. Top with ale. Garnish with a peach slice or orange slice.
BASES LOADED
Ingredients:
¾ oz. Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel
¾ oz. Aperol
¾ oz. Pineapple Juice
Directions: Shake all with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a grapefruit peel.

Russell Westbrook Shows Off His Powerstance
Not only is Russell Westbrook is gearing up for his NBA season to start, but he is also getting ready things off the court. As you can imagine Westbrook is a very busy guy so thankfully Mtn Dew has their Kickstart to help him conquer the day.

Jordan Brand Opens New Store In Chicago
Even though Michael Jordan has been out of the league as a player for a while his signature sneaker line is stronger than ever. To prove that fact Jordan Brand just opened up a new store in the city where he won six championships.
It has been over 30 years since the Windy City first embraced Michael Jordan as its own. SMIRNOFF Goes OG On Moscow Mule
Earlier this week SMIRNOFF Vodka released their second iteration of the Exclusively for Everybody campaign titled “The Road Trip” starring actors and comedians T.J. Miller and Thomas Middleditch.
T.J. and Thomas embarked on a road trip from Hollywood to New York Comic Con to pitch a new superhero movie and, as expected from the two comedians, the trip is quite entertaining! In one stop, T.J. and Thomas learn about the history of the Moscow Mule – which is actually not created by Dave nor in Moscow – but invented in LA, in 1941, and by SMIRNOFF Vodka. Thus, T.J. naming his cocktail the “OG LA Moscow Mule.”

Ingredients
1.5 oz. SMIRNOFF No. 21 Vodka
3 oz. Ginger beer
1 tsp Simple syrup
.25 oz. Lime juice
1 slice Lime
Directions: In a copper mug with ice, add SMIRNOFF No. 21 Vodka, simple syrup and lime juice. Top with ginger beer and stir. Garnish with a lime slice.

When the Chicago Bulls had their first three-peat Michael Jordan was rocking the Air Jordan VIII. He was showing his dominance in the NBA as he guided the Bulls to a third straight championship. To celebrate MJ’s three-peat Nike is releasing a classic retro Jordan sneaker in a new colorway.

Guitar Hero Rolls Out The Red Carpet For Celebrities
The very interactive video game Guitar Hero is coming back with their latest version from EA Games. To make everyone feel like a rock star Activision and FreeStyle Games celebrated the long-awaited and highly anticipated music video game, Guitar Hero Live.
There were celebrity guests including Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and LA Clippers’ Paul Pierce gathered at the YouTube Space LA to experience the new game and watch an intimate performance by weezer.
During the party Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens embraced each other as they walked on the red carpet while Paul Pierce’s family attended the Guitar Hero Live launch party and played the new game all together. Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross talked about their plans for Halloween, sharing Jagger might be dressed as a lion and Bronx will be a video game.
