Jessica Szohr Interview and Body Paint Photos
Jessica Szohr is hot. She made the People Magazine’s list of 100 Most Beautiful People in the World in 2010, and she’s been sizzling it up on Gossip Girl since 2007. When SoBe approached Jessica to do a skinsuit photo shoot to promote the launch of SoBe Lifewater with electrolytes, she jumped at the chance. When MANjr got asked to interview this stunning starlet, we jumped at the chance, too.
Szohr traveled to Costa Rica for the SoBe Lifewater skinsuit photo shoot. Each skinsuit she wore required 11-plus hours or body paint application. She posed in the juggle sporting nothing but body paint inspired by the new SoBe Lifewater bottle, Strawberry Kiwi Lemonade with electrolytes
After that, she visited the urban jungle of San Jose wearing a skinsuit inspired by another new electrolyte-packed flavor, Macintosh Apple Cherry.
I had chance to speak with Jessica about the shoot, the body paint application, Gossip Girl, Piranha 3D and her upcoming films. I also got to ask her about appearing on Freaks and Geeks, which didn’t actually happen. I scored it as an IMDB fail, but the credit for the misinformation actually goes to Wikipedia (proving once again that you can’t always believe everything that you web). Here’s the interview:

Ines Sainz Interview
It’s funny how sports lets us talk about cultural themes that we don’t normally discuss in everyday conversation. Let’s take gender equality for example. It’s not really something you talk about on the regular, but when the women’s basketball team at UConn tries to break the all-time NCAA basketball winning streak, the issue becomes a source for water cooler conversation all week. Sports allows us to talk about bigger issues in a totally detached, relaxed and conversational way. Under the umbrella of athletic competition, no topic is off limits. Everything – culture, identity, values, etc. – can be folded in.
That’s why the Ines Sainz/Jets story took on such a life of its own. Sexism and exploitation are interesting topics, but they become much more discussable when wrapped in the easy-going blanket of sports talk.
I’m sure you’ve heard about what happened when TV Azteca reporter Ines Sainz visited a Jets practice back in September. Stories came out that this stunning reporter was subjected to all kinds of disrespectful behavior by the Jets players (and other members of the organization). Balls were thrown her way on the practice field so that players could try to bump into her. There was some lewd behavior reported in the locker room when Sainz was trying to interview QB Mark Sanchez.
Sainz was embarrassed and tweeted about it. Fellow reporters were offended and jumped to her defense. The Association for Women in Sports Media stepped in and filed a complaint with the Jets and the NFL. The story blew up, and Sainz even appeared on Good Morning America to talk about it.
After the story reached critical mass, two opinion camps formed. One camp saw Sainz as a victim of sexual harassment, in the workplace no less. Here’s a woman with an established career as a professional sports journalist who was mistreated by a bunch of chauvinistic, sophomoric football players. Her rights needed to be defended, and the culture of pro football players, with respect to their treatment of women reporters, needed to be changed dramatically.
The other camp saw Sainz as an opportunist. A sexy bombshell who used her good looks and attention-hunger to exploit a situation for her own gain. I mean what sort of treatment did she expect wearing jeans that tight?
After speaking with Sainz, I believe that there’s a lot of gray area to explore between these two opinion camps. Ines Sainz is a lot of things. She’s a wife, a mother, an international sports personality and a former Miss Spain. Sainz’s journalistic approach may be a bit cheeky, but she’s not just some bimbo journo. She’s articulate, engaging and experienced. Sainz has interviewed over 300 athletes in her career, guys like Peyton Manning and Lionel Messi, Roger Federer and Jerry Rice. She’s covered all kinds of sports events from around the world. Super Bowls, top tennis matches, multiple World Cups. Stuff like that.
Is she gorgeous? Unquestionably yes. Is she a victim of sexual harassment? She’ll be the first one to tell you no. When I asked her if she felt mistreated by the Jets players that day at practice, this is what she said:
“No, I didn’t feel like they were not treating me well. I went there, I did my job. I had the chance to make my interview when I arrived at the locker room. Evidently, the moment [in the locker room] wasn’t the best. But it wasn’t as rude as people think because – as I said many times – I just hear things like ‘Senorita Bonita’ or ‘I want to be Mexican’ or something like that. Probably, Latin women, we are kind of used to men that say something nice to us. But it wasn’t anything offensive or sexual even. I think that it’s lean, the line that you can cross between being nice and always friendly and, I don’t know, cat calls I think they call it. So I truly believe that in this particular moment, it wasn’t a bad thing. Everything was not with the intention to disturb me,” she said.
One woman’s compliment is another woman’s sexual harassment. So was it all an overreaction?

Palm Springs Playboy Golf Scramble Photos
The Palm Springs Playboy Golf Scramble took place this past Friday and Saturday at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. The Eagle Falls Golf Course played host to the event for the fourth consecutive year. Six Playboy Playmates and 60 Girls of Playboy Golf were on hand to celebrate this annual golf event in the desert.
The Playboy Playmate event hostesses included: Jennifer Pershing (Miss March 2009), Kimberly Phillips (Miss September 2009), Jaime Edmonson (Miss January 2010), Kassie Logsdon (Miss May 2010), Amy Leigh Andrews (Miss April 2010), Shanna McLaughlin (Miss July 2010).
The Golf Scramble was just one part of a weekend-long party schedule. Playboy Golf raises money for charity in all their events. A putting contest at this year’s Palm Springs Playboy Golf Scramble generated $1,000 for the FIND Food Bank of the Coachella Valley.

Marisa Miller Interview (Video)
There’s cute, there’s ridiculously-good-looking and then there’s Marisa Miller. One of the top supermodels in the world, Marisa has a level of sexy that can be appreciated by all. She’s the dream girl of the everyman. The English language doesn’t have enough superlatives to describe her hotness. In a world full of 1-through-10s, her hotness goes up to 11.
Diamond encrusted bras line up to be worn by her. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues fly off the shelves when she’s in the mix. Miller’s more than a pretty face, though. She’s developed into a formidable marketing force. She’s a full-fledged brand, and she knows how to wield her brand power to great effect.
Miller is the official spokesperson of Harley-Davidson, the first spokesperson the company has ever had. She’s Captain Morgan’s Official First Mate. She’s also an ambassador for the American Cancer Society and the NFL.
I had the privilege of speaking to this iconic beauty, and she was super cool. We talked about her role in Harley-Davidson’s Second Annual Military Appreciation Month, her love of domestic chores, the need for supermodels to carve out a brand presence and her appreciation for her hometown, Santa Cruz, California. MANjr created this list of the top 25 bikini babes of all time based on a scientific scale that considered the following factors: bangin’ body, bikini skills, cuteness of face and overall hotness. Dude, remember how hot Niki Taylor was? This foxy chick from Florida started modeling when she was 13. She was a cover girl for a solid decade or so during which she married an Arena Football League linebacker and had twins. Taylor’s only 35 years old, and you know this blonde-haired, hazel-eyed head-turner’s still got it.

Stephanie Seymour was on top of her game in the 90s. The San Diego-native appeared in numerous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues. She helped establish Victoria’s Secret mail catalogs as prized postal possessions, and she posed in Playboy in 1991 and 1993. Sadly, this still wasn’t enough to help Seymour survive her wedding to Axel Rose in the November Rain video. Everybody needs somebody, and we all need more Stephanie Seymour.

Total package bikini beauty like that doesn’t fade fast. If you ever find yourself wondering if there’s a Hugh Grant movie out there from the 90s that features a hilarious slow-motion nude running scene with Elle Macpherson, the answer is yes. It’s called Sirens.

Cayman Islands native Selita Ebanks was discovered at a Six Flags when she was 17. What kinda crazy job would that be? Hey, before you ride the Ninja, I just wanted to say your gorgeous and I work for a modeling agency. I think I want that job. Ebanks was once engaged to Nick Cannon. As Maria Carey gets more chubby and/or pregnant with each passing day, Cannon can always reminisce about his old Victoria’s Secret fiancé and wonder what might have been.

Marisa Miller Is Captain Morgan’s Official First Mate
Supermodel, Santa Cruz-native and all around amazing-in-a-bikini legend Marisa Miller is joining forces with Captain Morgan. Miller is taking on the role of Captain Morgan’s Official First Mate, and she’s even filmed some swashbuckling promo vids with the Captain himself. Take a look at the trailer:
This Saturday, the world premiere of the full “Welcome to the Captain’s World” video will take place at Haze nightclub in Las Vegas. The ARIA is a great spot, and with Marisa Miller and the Captain at Haze, you know it’s going to be a fun event.
“It’s a great opportunity to work with a brand that is synonymous with fun,” Miller said. “Captain Morgan is all about celebrating legendary times and I’m excited to be on board as the Captain’s First Mate.”
Miller’s First Mate duties include digital spots, ads, event appearances and social responsibility communication. Dudes, Chicks and Gays All Love Christina Hendricks
The poster girl for ginger-buxom voluptuosity gets attention from all sides. Christina Hendricks, the red delicious apple-bottom beauty from Mad Men, doesn’t just get hit on by dudes. Oh, no. Chicks dig her too.
“Women hit on me. My husband thinks it’s so odd that so many women hit on me,” Hendricks told Harper’s Bazaar.
I can see that. What woman wouldn’t want a piece of that? And if I were her husband I wouldn’t mind chicks checkin’ out my lady on the regular. But wait, there’s more. Hendricks also gets hit on by gay guys.
“They say to me, ‘Well, I’m not straight, but if I was …’ ” Hendricks says. “I think it’s so flattering.”
Hell yeah it’s flattering. If you can turn the heads of heteros and homosexuals, you know you’re sitting at the table with a full stack of chips.
Hendricks is bringin’ curvy back and God bless her for it. Hollywood was obsessed with the wafer-thin, cokehead-girl look for way too long. It’s nice to see old school curves making a comeback. And judging by the attention Hendricks gets, it seems like people of every gender and sexual preference agree.

Babe of the Summer – Kelly Brook in Piranha 3D
IGN recently released their third annual Summer Movie Awards, and Kelly Brook took home the honor of “Babe of the Summer” for her role in Piranha 3D.
