Kendrick Lamar Drops Signature Kicks July 1st
Just like his music Kendrick Lamar is making some sick kicks. You have to check out his sneakers that drop next month. Reebok Classic continues its collaboration with multi-platinum selling Top Dawg Entertainment artist Kendrick Lamar, launching his third capsule collection, which celebrates one of the brand’s most iconic sneakers, the Classic Leather.
For his third capsule collection, Kendrick Lamar teamed up with designer Ian Paley (of Garbstore fame) to put their spin on the Classic Leather.
The deconstructed aesthetic is highlighted by a longitudinal seam that runs down the shoe separating blue and red. While the split seam continues to tell the unity and neutrality themes that Kendrick has explored with the past two Reebok Capsule collections, the design dives further into Kendrick’s life, representing the significant crossroads that he has faced.
The seam is a metaphor for the major decisions he has been forced to make – from championing gang neutrality throughout his upbringing to using his artistry to make a difference in his own community and the world over.
The Reebok x Kendrick Lamar “Classic Leather” will be available Friday, July 1st, in Adult sizes ($109.99), Grade School ($64.99), Pre-School ($59.99) and Toddler ($41.99). Retailers will include Reebok.com, Shoe Palace and Sneaker Villa.

Reebok Question Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary With The Unworn Version
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of one of the most iconic sneakers of all-time, the Question, Reebok is releasing 20 different colorways throughout the year to commemorate the shoe and the man that introduced it to the world, Allen Iverson.
This Question Mid “Unworn” is modeled after a colorway from 2000 that was originally set to be worn by Allen Iverson in February 2000 during the annual exhibition basketball game that took place in Oakland, CA.
It was set for a global release with major hype in the basketball world as it, along with Iverson, graced the cover of the most popular sneaker magazine. The colorway was ahead of its time, as no one was yet wearing crazy colored sneakers in the game.
After some back and forth with Iverson about wearing the shoes leading up to the game, he ultimately opted not to wear them and this “Unworn” colorway never saw the light of day, making this the Iverson shoe that never was.
Although these sneakers never left Iverson’s duffle bag that day, he went on to be the leading scorer in that game with 26 points, creating a unique story for this pair that was inspired by the 2000 host team in Oakland.
This Question features navy blue nubuck toe and heel hits with a yellow leather upper and a translucent blue outsole with the Reebok Question logo and Iverson’s iconic jersey number 3 on the heel. The Reebok Question “Unworn” will release for $140 on Saturday, February 20th in the US at Reebok.com and Finish Line.
As a reminder, the Question Mid OG will launch tomorrow, Friday, February 12th, for $140 at retailers including Reebok.com, Finish Line and Sneaker Villa.

We just got into the month of February and Spring is just around the corner. Is your closet ready? If not no worries. Reebok Classics had you covered. Reebok Classic recently released the Spring/Summer 2016 collection of the dual gender Furylite, a bold, stylish sneaker fusing stand-out fashion with technologically advanced architectural features. Inspired by daring adventures and escaping normality to uncover limitless potential, the campaign is an expression of Reebok’s fierce, fearless attitude. Epic landscapes, striking skies and tropical backdrops provide the environment against which powerful fashion looks, striking poses and a theme of movement celebrate the new collection.
One of Reebok Classic’s most fashion forward styles, the Furylite’s architectural, molded details are juxtaposed by a sleek silhouette and finished with premium materials and on-trend colors. For SS16, monochrome styles provide a chic and stylized look while multi-color executions offer a powerful, tropical feel. Reebok Classic & Finish Line Bring You Into The Studio
Reebok Classic and Finish Line have created a cool new feature called Studio Sessions. This episodes features Kendrick Lamar in the studio where he recorded “To Pimp A Butterfly.” Reebok Classic and Finish Line have teamed up to showcase an exclusive look into the lives, styles, and creative processes of some of the world’s top musical artists.
Kendrick sits down with Finish Line ambassador, Jacques Slade, in the same studio where he created his latest album, “To Pimp a Butterfly.” The two rappers, with a mutual love for classic sneakers, discuss what inspires Kendrick’s music, how he is motivated by the community he came from, and his signature style. He describes how he formed his style back in middle school, which is when classic Reebok silhouettes like the Ventilator and Classic Nylon became a permanent part of his wardrobe. Kendrick invites kids from his alma mater, Centennial High School to listen to the discussion and ask him a few questions of their own.
Stay tuned for future episodes of Studio Sessions with Kendrick Lamar, coming soon.
In 1990, Reebok released one of their most timeless running designs: the Ventilator. Incorporating Hexalite technology into the shoe to provide greater comfort and better shock absorption it was the perfect shoe for the faster, lighter runner. The durable lugged outsole was designed to give sure-footed traction for both on and off-road running. The visible archbridge in the middle of the shoe was perfectly placed to offer optimum motion control. And the name Ventilator? That came from the ventilated side panels that allowed cooling and breathability. The shoe was ahead of its time. Twenty-five years later the shoe is a classic. Still as light as it ever was but now worn for street fashion instead of road running.
Capturing the electric energy found within unforgettable days and even hotter nights, Reebok Classic’s latest iteration of the Ventilator – Ventilator DG – puts a bold, neon spin on the classic silhouette. Fearless and unapologetic, the bright colorways that make up this unique pack are for those not afraid to stand out or stand up.
