Jordan Brand Teams Up With PSNY To Create A Unique Collection
According to Nike legend, in the ’90s his airness would personally challenge Jordan Brand designers to create bold silhouettes and patterns that pushed the boundaries of fashion and sport, and cemented the designs within the cultural lexicon. This legacy lives on in the Jordan Brand x Public School collection, which captures the energy of the big city and colorful personalities of the respective brands.
Celebrating the tailoring and sophisticated ease inherent to Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne’s Public School designs, the seven-piece collection leverages performance materials and strong silhouettes – while taking cues from the Air Jordan XII. Along with referencing the shoe’s design lines, the collaboration reflects its premium materials and elevated craftsmanship.
For years, Public School has been pushing the limits with its play on color, proportion, and styling. We are continuously looking to create modern silhouettes from classic forms,” said Maxwell Osborne, co-founder of Public School. “The Jordan Brand collaboration allowed us to apply this same philosophy and create pieces inspired by Jordan’s iconic designs, but through a Public School lens.”
Two footwear silhouettes complement the apparel collection. A favorite of the Public School founders, the Air Jordan XII design exemplifies the collaboration’s superior execution with a grey nubuck body that pays homage to the trademark PSNY color palette. The Jordan Horizon, a new Air Jordan model, includes a knitted upper mixed with PSNY details.
The Jordan x Public School collection will be available on Jordan.com and select Jordan retail stores on December 12.

Marvin The Martian Challenges Blake Griffin To A Dunk Off
Marvin the Martian for some reason wants to challenge Blake Griffin to a dunk off. Marvin probably has not seen Blake in action since he is testing one of the NBA’s best. It could be that Marvin wants a pair of Jordan Super.Fly 4 that Blake rocks from the Jordan Brand. So who won? Check out the video below to find out.

Are Martians Going After Blake Griffin?
The NBA offseason can be very quiet at times. Even after the draft there may be only whispers of blockbuster trades. It looks like this offseason won’t be that calm. Apparently Martians are targeting Blake Griffin. Well I should say Martian. Marvin, the famous extraterrestrial from Mars wants Blake’s new kicks that Jordan Brand will be releasing soon. We found a letter and video from Marvin discussing his plans.
Watch out Blake!
Here is Marvin’s letter.
Greetings Earthlings,
I have reached my limit with you Earth creatures. For too long the people of Mars have stood by and put up with your anti-Martian activity. Your shuttles, and rovers have been driving us crazy!
My superiors have granted me permission to finally destroy the Earth by any means necessary. K-9 and I have searched the galaxy and heard about this Blake Griffin and his Super.Fly 4 machine that possesses the power to disintegrate your puny little planet.
Today, I am putting you Earthlings on notice. I am searching for this Blake Griffin fellow and when I find him I will use him to destroy the Earth. I will use the Jordan Super.Fly 4’s Earth-shattering powers to disintegrate that rock you call home.
It is flattering that you Earthlings have been influenced by our greatness. The Jordan Super.Fly 4 machine’s colors are clearly inspired by the Martian way of life. While it warms my small Martian heart that you hold us in such high regard it will not sway me from my mission to destroy you!
Clearly, you have created this FlightSpeed tool to provide Blake Griffin with previously unmatched power. I demand that you hand over it and its Earth shattering explosive properties immediately, or feel the wrath of my Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator. If you inferior Earthlings do not comply I will come to Earth and take it from Blake Griffin myself.
My army of instant Martians has already been deployed to find Blake Griffin in a place called China; we will start there and make our way across your planet until we find him. When I find this Blake Griffin I will challenge him to what you Earthlings call a dunk contest…winner takes Earth.
I have also commandeered the Jordan.com machine to update you Earthlings on my progress and the search for Blake Griffin and the Jordan Super.Fly 4 machine.
Good luck. You’ll need it.
Marvin The Martian
The Jordan Super.Fly 4 will release for a suggested retail price of $150 in China on July 1, followed by a general global release on August 5. Stay tuned to @jumpman23 and Jordan.com for more information on the Jordan Super.Fly 4 and Marvin’s domination plan.

2016 Will Be On Fire For Jordan Brand
As you probably have guessed by now I am a sneakerhead. My first choice of kicks is from the Air Jordan line. I love these sneakers all the way back when I was a kid. Jordan Brand just announced some fantastic shoes that will be coming out next year. I can’t wait especially for the Air Jordan V’s.
Throughout his career, Michael Jordan consistently elevated his game to extraordinary heights, achieving feats that include recording eight steals in the first half against Boston in 1988, scoring 69 points in a single playoff game, and ultimately retiring with the league’s highest scoring average of 30.1 points per game. For spring 2016, Jordan Brand celebrates its namesake’s career highs by introducing three legacy shoe collections that pay homage to these soaring moments of greatness.
Inspired by two iconic images of Jordan, the “Poster” Collection features the Air Jordan II and Air Jordan XII.
The Air Jordan II “Wing It” pays tribute to the brand’s ad campaign that coincided with the shoe’s original release in 1986. White, black and dark gray, the AJ II “Wing It” includes wings on the shoe’s heels that capture the spirit of Jordan’s effortless game above the rim.
In celebration of the shoe’s 20th anniversary, this Air Jordan XII pulls inspiration from the iconic “The Master” poster. A black base grounds the shoe, while hints of white and gold play off the poster’s radiant lines.
30 years ago, Michael Jordan shocked the world by unveiling exclusive colored-up performance footwear on the hardwood. His bold, instantly recognizable shoes sparked a worldwide craze. Presently known as player exclusives, these unique on-court color ways are highly prized by athletes and collectors alike.
As a celebration of the Air Jordan Franchise’s 30th Anniversary, the brand unveils three retro silhouettes that stem from this phenomenon and posit what Jordan’s player exclusive footwear would look like. The Air Jordan II, Air Jordan IV and Air Jordan V Low incorporate colors consistent with the Chicago-based team Jordan played for during his early years in the league.
The Dunk from Above Collection
Inspired by Michael Jordan’s relentless ability to take flight, the “Dunk From Above” shoe collection incorporates colorways and materials that support the seasonal theme of soar.
The Air Jordan 1 Nouveau, the first shoe in the Jordan Brand franchise to include the Wings logo, features a classic flat leather finish and a color shifting Nike Swoosh inspired by aviator goggles.
The Air Jordan IV, which introduced the word ‘Flight’ onto a basketball shoe, features an inner label with a midnight navy and metallic gold design.
With a similar color theme featuring metallic gold accents and ice outsole, the Air Jordan V Low nods to the idea of flight by taking design cues from a World-war II fighter plane.

Fore Jordan: Introducing The Flight Runner Golf Shoe
It was only a matter of time when us amateur golfers could play a round with Michael Jordan. Well maybe not the man himself, but at least you can play in his golf cleats.
Since retiring from basketball, Jordan has fueled his competitive drive on the golf course, inspiring Jordan Brand designers to create this new performance silhouette. The limited-edition offering combines one of Jordan Brand’s premium training styles, the Jordan Flight Runner 2, with Nike Golf’s innovative Nike Free-inspired tooling.
“The Jordan Flight Runner Golf is the perfect combination of Jordan and Nike innovation coupled with Michael’s love for the game of golf,” said Larry Miller, President, Jordan Brand. “This is the same formula that helped us create some of the most iconic shoes over the past thirty years and we are excited to bring Jordan Brand energy to the golf course.”
The Jordan Flight Runner Golf combines mesh and synthetic materials in the upper for lightweight support and breathability, while the shoe’s dynamic Nike Flywire provides the ultimate lockdown fit.
