WWE Superstar John Cena has done more than his fair share of doing tremendous work in the community to give back. Don’t believe me? Well his actions speaks for themselves. This past Monday John granted his 500th wish on Monday Night Raw.

The 15-time World Champion and current United States Champion on the Today Show surprised longtime Cena fan and Make-a-Wish recipient Rocco Lanzer on the set. Rocco was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year, and was too sick to interact with John on his first attempt to visit. John got to spend a few minutes talking with Rocco and gave him all of his latest gear.

With this wish he granted that made it his 500^th, Cena is the first celebrity in the history of the organization to do so. “I’ll continue to be involved with Make-A-Wish as long as they’ll have me,” he said.

This is what the world needs. A role model, who is in the limelight that always goes the extra step to make it a better day for those in need. While athletes might not feel that they are a role model, kids will look up to them. You see that he is loving the moment just as much as the wish recipient is. Congrats to John Cena for making this place a little brighter with your actions.

You do say that people “can’t see you,” well my friend trust me we see you and are very proud of everything you do to make this world a better place.

USA Network and WWE announced that WWE Superstar Chris Jericho will be the host of the highly-anticipated series, WWE Tough Enough, and will be joined by a panel of experts comprised of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan and WWE Diva Paige. The high-octane reality series premieres LIVE Tuesday, June 23 at 8pm ET/5pm PT on USA Network and around the world.

This season of WWE Tough Enough will combine the can’t-miss excitement of live television with reality-show drama, as WWE hopefuls vie for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become the next WWE Superstar or Diva.  Unlike anything on television today, the lightning-fast hour of entertainment and competition will include live results every week, giving fans worldwide the power to decide who stays and who goes the very same night. Each week, one cast member will be eliminated until one man and one woman are considered “Tough Enough,” with each earning a one-year, $250,000 WWE contract.

Throughout the competition, the contestants will be trained by WWE Legends Booker T, Billy Gunn and Lita. Contestants will also come face-to-face with WWE icons including WWE Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Vince McMahon; Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative, Paul “Triple H” Levesque; Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon; and WWE Superstar John Cena, among others.

“These athletes, each with varying skill sets, will be put through a grueling boot camp that will test their physical, mental and emotional limits in a way that the series hasn’t done before,” said Jessica Sebastian, Vice President of Unscripted Series, USA Network.  “Each week, their training and experience culminates in a spectacular live event where they will be put in front of their WWE heroes and an audience of fans.  In this reimagined version of WWE TOUGH ENOUGH only the best will survive.”

“This season of WWE Tough Enough will be the most innovative, unique and engaging series on television,” said Kevin Dunn, WWE Executive Producer. “A live global telecast, real-time voting with immediate results, and unprecedented use of digital and social media during and between telecasts will all lead to a groundbreaking viewing experience.

To date, entrants from 113 countries have submitted videos, which have been viewed more than two million times on YouTube.

On Monday, May 25, the WWE Tough Enough App will be available for free download, giving fans even more opportunity to engage with this cutting-edge reality competition series. Through the App, viewers will receive access to exclusive content, learn more about the contestants, take part in social conversation between live telecasts and vote in real time. Sunday, March 15^th Levity Live Comedy Club in West Nyack, NY welcomes WWE’s Hardcore Legend, Mick Foley. The 3-time WWE champion and 2-time New York Times #1 best-selling author has a one-man stage show called “Hardcore Legend: An Evening with Mick Foley.” In this show Foley tells his incredible stories of is time in the WWE using humor and intensity.

Mick has took his show worldwide with glowing praise where ever he goes. Best-selling author Paul O’Brien, writing for The Layfield Report wrote, “He always leaves them laughing. Laughing, standing at the end and always wanting more.” Even the decidedly non-wrestling publication Broadway Babies mused “If you’re interested at all in wrestling, you’ll love it; if you’re not, you’ll like it.”

Mick got the nickname “The Hardcore Legend” for his uncanny trait of taking punishment in some of the most dramatic matches in sports-entertainment history. No matter if he was Cactus Jack, Mankind, or as Mick he made the WWE fans always walk away amazed from his performance.

One of Foley’s most epic and brutal battle was with The Undertaker in 1998’s “Hell in a Cell” match, during which he was knocked unconscious after falls both off of and through the 16 foot Cell structure. Foley finished the match – with one of his front teeth lodged in his nose.

Mick wrote his autobiography of 700 pages all on notebook paper, which was later turned into “Have a Nice Day.” That book became number one on the New York Times best-seller list in October 1999. The book remained on the Times list for twenty six weeks. In 2001 Mick wrote “Foley is Good” and was on The New York Times list as well. Foley has published a total of ten books; four memoirs, four children’s books, and two novels.

WWE announced today that pop-culture icon Arnold Schwarzenegger will be inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame at a ceremony to be held on Saturday, March 28 at SAP Center in San Jose, CA as part of WrestleMania Week.

Former Governor of California from 2003-2011 and the star of such blockbuster films as Predator, True Lies, Kindergarten Cop and the wildly successful Terminator franchise, Schwarzenegger is a longtime WWE fan dating back to the 1970s, appearing at many Monday Night Raw® and SmackDown® events through the years.  A seven-time Mr. Olympia winner, he is the founder of the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival, the world’s largest annual sports weekend, which hosts 200,000 attendees and more than 18,000 of the world’s top athletes. He also appeared at the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony at Madison Square Garden, inducting his friend Bruno Sammartino.  Most recently, Schwarzenegger guest starred on the March 24, 2014 episode of Monday Night Raw opposite WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan® and WWE Superstar The Miz®. When Total Divas returns with all-new episodes on January 4 at 10pm ET, a new duo emerges to shake up the dynamics of the cast: WWE® Diva Alicia Fox™ and WWE Diva Paige™.  Former WWE Divas Champion, Paige, is a raven-haired Diva who preaches a simple message: she wants to mix it up in the ring. She first began battling when she was 13, following her family of English wrestlers, and gained prominence inside the WWE’s NXT Division, as the first NXT Women’s Champion. Similarly, the stunning and lithesome Alicia Fox has proven herself to be far more ferocious and eccentric than anyone ever expected. The talented Ms. Fox has etched her name in WWE record books as the first African-American woman to win the Divas Championship. All-new episodes of Total Divas start Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 10pm ET, before returning to its regular time slot at 9pm beginning January 11.

The show that averages 3.1 million viewers on Friday nights and beats all Friday primetime viewing on any cable network is moving to Thursday nights on Syfy beginning January 15^th at 8pm ET.  With more than 800 original episodes, SmackDown is the second longest-running weekly episodic program in U.S. television history, only behind WWE’s other flagship program, Monday Night Raw^®.

“Quite simply, more young men watch television on Thursday night than on Fridays,” said Michael Engleman, Executive Vice President, Marketing, Digital and Global Brand Strategy, Syfy. “Among Men 18-49, PUTS are 15 percent higher compared to Fridays, expanding the potential audience for SmackDown. Since the majority of broadcast programming skews female, we’re also using Thursday nights to counter program.”

“WWE’s sizable and passionate fan base make SmackDown the #1 entertainment show on Syfy and the most-watched, regularly-scheduled program among key demographics on the network,” said Michelle Wilson, Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer, WWE.  “We look forward to bringing the WWE audience to Thursday nights on Syfy.”

Over the past 15 years, SmackDown has been broadcast from 170 different venues, in 148 cities and towns, in seven different countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Iraq, Japan, Italy and Mexico.  The name SmackDown came from WWE Superstar Dwayne “The Rock^®” Johnson’s popular catchphrase, “Lay the Smackdown^®.”

Multi-platinum recording artists and two-time CMA Vocal Duo of the Year winners, Florida Georgia Line will join WWE Superstars and Divas to honor the United States Armed Forces with the 12th annual WWE holiday special Tribute to the Troops, which will air on USA Network as a part of ”WWE WEEK” on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 8/7 p.m. CT, and will re-air as a one-hour special on NBC on Saturday, Dec. 27, at 8/7 p.m. CT.

In the tradition of Bob Hope, WWE brings together the best of entertainment and pop culture with celebrity appearances and performances for our servicemen and women to celebrate their dedication and commitment to our country. The holiday program is considered one of television’s most patriotic and heartwarming shows. WWE Tribute to the Troops will chronicle WWE’s visit to United States Army post Fort Benning, where WWE Superstars and Divas will spend two days giving back to those who serve and their families with hospital visits, career workshops and Be a STAR anti-bullying rallies. Fort Benning supports more than 120,000 active-duty military, family members, reserve soldiers, retirees, and civilian employees and has been the home of the Infantry division since 1918.

The television special will also highlight WWE’s annual goodwill visit to our troops who are fighting for our freedom overseas. WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, WWE Superstars Big Show and R-Truth and WWE Divas Summer Rae and Alicia Fox will travel abroad to spread some holiday cheer to the men and women serving our country far from home during the holiday season.
